Abdominoplasty
Feel good again with a taut abdominal wall
A flat stomach stands for vitality, attractiveness and self-confidence. However, after pregnancy, significant weight loss or in the course of natural ageing, the skin often loses its elasticity. Excess skin flaps or sagging tissue appear, which often cannot be restored even with a healthy diet and exercise.
A tummy tuck can help you to develop a positive feeling about your body again. By removing excess skin and fat deposits and tightening the abdominal muscles, a harmonious contour is created that gives your overall appearance more lightness and balance. It’s not just about the external change, but also about the good feeling of being in harmony with your own body.
In our practice, we take a lot of time for your personal wishes and accompany you sensitively on the way to your goal. With over 10 years of experience in plastic and aesthetic surgery, Dr. Abuagela and his team stand for precision, safety and a treatment concept that is as individual as you are.

Definition of
What is a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (medical term: abdominoplasty) is an aesthetic surgical procedure that aims to tighten the abdominal region. Excess skin and fat are removed and – if necessary – the abdominal muscles are tightened.
The most common reasons for a tummy tuck at a glance:
- Excess skin after severe weight loss,
- a significant accumulation of fatty tissue on the abdomen (fat apron) and
- overstretched tissue after pregnancy.
The aim of this treatment is a smooth, harmonious stomach that is in harmony with your natural silhouette. Many patients see the operation not only as a physical change, but also as an important step towards a new attitude to life. They describe that after the procedure they enjoy wearing their clothes again, moving freely and feeling a new self-confidence.
Treatment methods
Options for abdominoplasty in our practice
We offer various methods to meet individual needs:
- Classic tummy tuck: Excess skin and fatty tissue are removed, the muscles in the abdominal area are tightened and the navel is aesthetically repositioned. The result is a flat, firm abdominal area that is permanently attractive.
As an alternative to surgery, we offer minimally invasive skin tightening with Renuvion® with significantly shorter downtimes. - Mini tummy tuck: Sometimes there is only a small but still disturbing excess skin on the abdomen. A large incision to tighten the abdomen is therefore unnecessary. With the so-called mini tummy tuck, we can remove sagging abdominal tissue below the navel with little effort and without scarring.
- Combination with liposuction: Excess skin can also occur after major liposuction on the abdomen. To prevent this, it is possible to perform an accompanying tightening of the abdominal wall in the same step as VASER® liposuction.

However, thanks to modern medicine with our fast recovery technique and years of experience, we can reduce this risk to an absolute minimum.
