Thread lifting
Moderate changes are also possible using a minimally invasive thread lift. Special polydioxanone threads are placed under the skin to tighten the tissue from the inside. The threads are absorbable, so the result lasts for several months and can then be repeated. We perform the treatment on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia.
Laser
A non-surgical and therefore scar-free method is the laser upper arm lift. The tissue is specifically treated with laser pulses and cell renewal is stimulated. This results in a visible tightening and rejuvenating effect.
How does an upper arm lift work?
The preparation
We conduct a detailed, personal consultation before the procedure. We take the time to understand your wishes, concerns and expectations. The skin and tissue situation is carefully analyzed in order to create an individual treatment concept. About two weeks before the operation, blood-thinning medication, nicotine and alcohol should be avoided in order to optimally support the healing process.
The treatment
The operation is performed under general anesthesia or twilight sleep and takes 1-2 hours, depending on the extent of the procedure. Excess skin is removed through an incision on the inside of the upper arm, fat tissue is suctioned out if necessary and the skin is tightened. The result is harmoniously shaped, firm arms that are in harmony with your natural silhouette.
The aftercare
After the operation, you will wear compression arm sleeves to support the healing process. Slight swelling and bruising will subside within the first few weeks. You will be able to socialize again after approx. 5-7 days. Sports activities should be suspended for 6 weeks. The final result will be visible after 9-12 months, when the arms are completely swollen and the new contour is stable.
