Job description
We are looking for a full-time or part-time medical assistant (m/f/d) or surgical assistant (m/f/d) to take care of the medical needs of our patients as well as the organization of the practice and the operating room.
Your tasks will include receiving patients, assisting with medical treatments and operations, managing appointments and documenting treatment and surgical procedures for patient files. If you are able to recognize the needs of patients and have experience in assisting with operations and caring for patients, we look forward to getting to know you.
They ensure that our patients receive a first-class medical service and leave our practice satisfied.
Your tasks:
- Patient care and advice
- Carrying out examinations and certain treatments (e.g. blood samples, vaccinations) according to medical instructions
- Preparation of surgical interventions
- Assistance with surgical procedures
- Care and monitoring of patients during and after operations
- Sterilization and disinfection of instruments and equipment
- Documentation of surgical interventions
- Collaboration in the organization of the operating theatre
- Creating and maintaining patient files
- Appointment allocation and coordination
- Management of prescriptions and referrals
- General practice organization and administration
Your profile:
- Completed training as a medical assistant (MFA) or surgical assistant (OTA)
- Proven professional experience as an MFA or OTA
- practical experience with certain medical treatments and in assisting with surgical procedures
- Knowledge of handling medical instruments and devices
- Good PC skills (especially MS Office)
- Friendly and confident manner in dealing with patients
- Ability to work in a team and flexibility
- Experience in plastic surgery, dermatology or aesthetic medicine
